DSM Technology

The Blade CX2 RTF Electric Coaxial Micro Helicopter is absolutely Interference-free and is equipped with a 5-channel E-flite® transmitter with built-in Spektrum™ 2.4GHz DSM® technology.

The helicopter has coaxial, counter-rotating rotor blades which make hovering easy, yes you heard it, hovering!

4 in 1 Control Unit

The 4-in-1 control unit of the Blade CX2 RTF Electric Coaxial Micro Helicopter is a fully updated piece with radically improved gyro and tail controls which give the Blade CX2 much better tail response while minimizing drift. Enhanced Gyro and Tail Control

This unique model is furnished with two extremely light S60 Super Sub-Micro Servos which can provide exceptionally powerful and precise cyclic control. As if this was not enough, the Blade CX2 RTF Electric Coaxial Micro Helicopter has been given a tremendous make over which has yielded an aggressive, impressive and obsessive new body design which not only looks irresistible, but also functions brilliantly to compliment the already powerful controls of the helicopter.

Pros and Cons

Pros:

The CX2 is very stable due to it being a coaxial helicopter.

Controls are very responsive.

The CX2 comes fully assembled. Everything is included in the box to start flying, including batteries.

Excellent user guide and DVD contain comprehensive detail.

Cons:

The lack of forward flight capability means you cannot fly the CX2 in windy weather.

The fragile construction means you need to be careful not to crash or parts will break. We recommend that you purchase replacement blades for when crashes occur.

Final Thoughts

There aren’t many drawbacks of the Blade CX2 RTF Electric Coaxial Micro Helicopter. It is not very suitable for new flyers. Its powerful frame might be a little too much for anyone without much experience to handle. As it’s rather fragile, it isn’t suitable for outdoor use unless it isn’t windy.

But even so the Blade CX2 RTF is a phenomenal helicopter and definitely worth a look for anyone who wants a stable helicopter primarily for indoor use. The easy learning curve and advanced controls of the Blade CX2 RTF Electric Coaxial Micro Helicopter is something no helicopter lover can ignore!
