  • 20 foot plastic Hose
  • Comes with Adjustable fan lance and Turbo lance
  • Onboard Storage

Compact, Lightweight and User-friendly

This electric pressure washer features a compact, lightweight design so moving it around is never a burden. The unit sits on two plastic wheels which aid in rolling it easily to your destination.

A large on/off control dial is located at the front of the unit to provide easy access to operate the washer.

A 35 ft GFCI power cord provides a good amount of reach to get to different outdoor areas without requiring the use of an extension cord.

Instant Start/Stop Feature

One of the best features of this machine is its instant start/stop feature. This automatically turns off the pump when you release the trigger gun, which means less strain is put on the pump to help extend its lifespan, conserve energy as well as reduce the noise.

1800 PSI Cleaning Pressure

Powered by a 14-amp universal motor, quiet operation with zero odors is assured. The unit delivers 1800 PSI of cleaning pressure at 1.5 GPM (gallons per minute). This sort of output is ideal for light-duty residential cleaning tasks like washing car windows, cleaning garden decking, driveways, vinyl siding and patio furniture.

20 foot Hose

The unit comes supplied with a 20 foot long plastic hose. As the hose is made from plastic opposed to rubber it isn’t as durable as we’d like, but is still sufficient providing you take good care of it.

The manufacture sells a 25 ft hose extension which can extend the hose by 25 ft. You might want to consider this if 20 foot is too short for your intended usage.

In an addition to a standard spray gun, the unit comes supplied with two basic wands. The turbo lance delivers a powerful stream of water, making it suitable for cleaning solid surfaces like concrete. The adjustable fan lance provides a spray range adjustable from 0-60 degrees. This is ideal for lighter cleaning tasks such as cleaning car windows or furniture fabrics.

Onboard Storage

The onboard storage provides a handy place to store the power cord, hose and accessories for convenient access.

Detergent Tank

At the rear of the unit is a 1 liter detergent tank. This allows you to add detergent to the mix for extra cleaning prowess when the wand is set to low pressure mode.

Pros and Cons

This is an excellent compact pressure washer which has gained a good reputation for its easy setup, cleaning performance, reliability and user-friendliness. Campbell Hausfeld has succeeded in creating a solid, affordable machine which provides great bang for your buck.

Plastic hose. The hose is prone to kinking and is stiff so it isn’t as good as the rubber variety of hoses. Also, the hose is quite short being just 20 ft long, making it awkward for jobs like cleaning cars. However, there is an extension hose available which works with this machine.

The hose inlet fitting on the unit is made from cheap plastic, which results in frequent leakages. Therefore, replacing this with a brass type fitting is advisable. The type of brass fitting needed is a 3/4″ sized double sized female hose thread.

Final Thoughts

The Campbell Hausfeld PW1825 Electric Pressure Washer is a basic, but well featured machine which meets its intended purpose for light-duty use. Its compactness and lightweight are strong appealing aspects. Additionally, it comes with a nice long power cord and a good PSI rating which is at the higher end of cleaning power for light-duty type washers.

Just be sure you replace the plastic hose coupler as soon as possible to prevent leakages occurring.
